Welcome
Welcome to my home page! I have created this site for several reasons:
- A place to view my online CV
- A web design portfolio
- An online list of web links that I find useful
About Me
I am currently working as a freelance consultant with various companies focusing on web marketing, ecommerce and network infrastructure.
Prior to this I worked on the West Midlands Technology Network project. The West Midlands Technology Network (WMTN) is a unique project that offers engineering product design, manufacturing and marketing advice free-of-charge to eligible small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the West Midlands Region. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Advantage West Midlands, the project aims to improve the productivity of SME's by utilising the multiple skills, knowledge and facilities of local universities and organisations.
I have began working on european funded SME support projects at Coventry University in 1999 with the KBE Centre. Previous to this I gained a B.Eng in mechanical engineering and an M.Sc in software development, both at Coventry University.
I have a strong interest in the emerging field of 'serious games' and I maintain a networking site, blog and wiki on this topic.
